PETER & THE WOLVES

Peter & the Wolves are a Calgary band playing real old-school rock and roll!

  

In 2013, they emerged from Bowness, a fresh-faced rockabilly band shaped by their ancestors' turbulent, irrepressible urge to shimmy. Led by Howlin' Pete Cormier, the Wolves played bars while half their members were still in high school. Pete would show off his guitar and tomboyish good looks, while Theo would sink into his stand-up and Paul would perform soul-stirring keyboard solos.

 

The band draws its inspiration from Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bill Haley & his comets and the Stray Cats.
